Since its founding in Rajkot in 2005, Micro Ion Coating Pvt. Ltd. has come a long way from only providing PVD Coating services, to now becoming one of the most prominent players in the Indian watch manufacturing industry. Currently, Micro Ion Coating (MIC) is not only a pioneer in high quality Ion Plating, but also specializes in manufacturing high quality watch-cases, complete watches, and wall clocks.
The company’s new 7-acres manufacturing unit is located in Gomta, 45 km from Rajkot City. With a sprawling 90,000 sq.ft. of plant built-up area, MIC comprises all in-house production facilities for brass and stainless steel watch cases, mineral glass, Stainless Steel Case-back, Metal Strap, Silicone Strap, PVD Coating, and more. Our ability to manufacture all major watch parts in-house makes us a preferred supplier in terms of quality control and better delivery performance.

Micro Ion Coating Pvt. Ltd. is the result of the struggles and successes that arose from the very humble beginnings of our company’s founder, Mr. Rajnikant Bhanvadia. His ultimate vision for Micro Ion Coating was to one day integrate all the manufacturing facilities required to make a watch under one roof. With every smallest addition in his fleet of machines, and an ever expanding and driven MIC team, Mr. Rajnikant built-up Micro Ion from ground zero to what it is today. Today, Mr. Rajnikant’s previous vision has been fulfilled with an all-integrated watch manufacturing facility that is brimming with an enthusiastic workforce. But with every dream come true arises a new dream.
Under the guidance of our MD’s monumental experience, the company’s vast in-house production facilities enables the company to reach higher levels of production. The company has taken a big leap from the domestic market and penetrated the foreign markets, competing directly with China. The company management strongly believes in serving good quality over merely quantity of export products. With a goal to change the mindset of the overseas customers and by giving them confidence in sourcing from India, the company sees a good future for all Indian watch manufacturers.
From a very young age, Mr. Rajnikant Bhanvadia, the Founder and Managing Director of Micro Ion Coating Pvt. Ltd., has had a special place for horology in his heart. He turned his passion into profession after achieving a degree of Diploma in Horology (the science of watch and clock making) from Lukhdhirji Engineering College, in Morbi (Gujarat), the renowned Clock Making hub of India.
A self-made person in
the truest sense, Mr. Bhanvadia has been the backbone of the company. He
commenced his career with a small watch-repair shop and thus began his ascent
up the staircase of success, where 35 years later, he now owns Micro Ion Coating – one of the
most prominent names in the India’s watch industry. With his years of valuable
experience, a reliable foresight of the industry and strong desire to escalate
the business rapidly, Mr. Bhanvadia has been a constant source of inspiration
for everyone at Micro Ion Coating. His continuous efforts and complete
dedication towards making watches of the utmost quality has never failed to
motivate everyone to take Micro Ion Coating up the staircase of success.
